We are a group of between forty and sixty singers who come together on a weekly basis to sing for pleasure.
We also give public performances - sometimes organising our own concerts and sometimes joining in with others.
The choir has been in existence since 1985 when a group of parents with children at Cavendish Road Primary School got together to sing. Other than for a few years at another venue, we have been meeting at the school ever since. Our thanks go to the Governors of the school for allowing us to have such a welcoming base all these years.
We have a wide range of singing ability in the choir - there is no audition - so come along and see if you like it.
At a normal meeting we divide our time between learning a piece for a concert performance, singing some old friends from our repertoire and trying out new songs.
